Christopher M. Zaffiro

Chief Executive Officer

Christopher M. Zaffiro spent more than two decades with the NYPD, half of them as a Captain and Executive leading police responses across some of New York City's most disadvantaged and violent neighborhoods, as well as some of its most affluent. He has overseen long-term investigative and undercover operations, directed the personal security of world leaders, and managed innumerable global events. Today he leads Praetorio Protection Group — bringing that same standard to our corporate executives, elite artists, entertainers, and a unique clientele across Westchester County and the New York City metropolitan area.

Joseph Bucchignano

Chief Operating Officer

Joseph Bucchignano brings a rare combination of comprehensive paramedic experience and elite tactical operations to Praetorio Protection Group. He spent 13 years with the NYPD's Emergency Services Unit, including its renowned A-Team — the unit tasked with apprehending the city's most violent wanted criminals and fugitives. He has led heavy-weapons protective escorts for heads of state and high-risk foreign dignitaries. He also served with FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Task Force NY-1, deploying multiple times to major disasters nationwide as a rescue and logistics specialist. As a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Praetorio Protection Group, Joseph brings an exceptionally nuanced understanding and practical wisdom concerning the worst scenarios imaginable.

Louis Guglielmo

Director, Protective Field Operations

Louis Guglielmo is an NYPD Sergeant and Detective Supervisor with 25 years of service. He brings decades of dignitary protection experience — from official Police details, extensive private sector assignments and with Praetorio Protection Group since its founding. As Director of Protective Field Operations, he facilitates planning and leads execution of the firm's on-the-ground endeavors.
